Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extending from inland Kimberley to the Interior is moving east.
Another trough will arrive over the Pilbara and North Interior from the south
as a ridge develops over southern WA today. This trough will push north into
the Kimberley on Monday ahead of a southeasterly surge.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front with a couple of embedded low pressure systems over the eastern
Goldfields and Eucla districts has developed and is moving southeast, as the
main low has deepened and moved towards South Australia overnight. Meanwhile,
another cold front has moved offshore to the southeast. A strong ridge will
extend across the southern half of the State today and during Monday,
dominating the weather pattern for much of next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 30 October
Showers over the South West Land Division, far southern Gascoyne, southwest
coast of Gascoyne, southern and central Goldfields, far southern Interior and
near the eastern border, and the Eucla district. Small hail possible in
thunderstorms closer to the south coast. Cooler than normal temperatures for
southern and central WA. Windy across the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Interior.

Forecast for Monday 31 October
Showers over the southern districts. Windy over the Pilbara, Interior and
Eucla. Very hot conditions returning to northeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 November
Light showers over southern districts, becoming more isolated by evening. Windy
over the Pilbara, North Interior and southern Kimberley. Very hot conditions
over northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 November
Light showers over southern districts, becoming more isolated by evening. Windy
over the Pilbara and North Interior in the morning. Very hot conditions over
northern and western Kimberley.
