Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies over the Pilbara and Kimberley. A low will develop in the trough over the far southwestern Pilbara and adjacent Gascoyne on Friday and move southwest on Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure near the south coast will move south and strengthen during Thursday and Friday. A trough develops near the west coast during Friday with fresh easterly winds over central parts of the State. A low develops in the trough over the northwestern Gascoyne and moves southwest during Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 September
Showers possible southwest of a line Bunbury to Bremer Bay. Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Goldfields, Gascoyne, Eucla and southern Interior. Afternoon thunderstorms possible over the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 27 September
Showers near the south coast, mostly in the morning. Showers and possible thunderstorms over the northeast Goldfields, southern Interior and eastern Eucla.Afternoon thunderstorms possible over the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 28 September
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South Interior. Morning showers near the south coast and Eucla coast. Afternoon thunderstorms possible over the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 29 September
Showers and possible thunderstorms through the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla. Afternoon thunderstorms possible over the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 30 September
Showers and possible thunderstorms through the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Interior and the Eucla.
