Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system slowly moving over the continent will direct dry, east
to southeast winds over the north of the State through to Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system over the west of South Australia will be pushed east by
a weak cold front moving over the southwest of the State today. A more
significant cold front will move over the southwest of the State later on
Thursday into Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 July
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Albany, extending to Jurien Bay to
Esperance during the afternoon. Chance of a thunderstorm over the far southwest
coast. Morning frost over eastern inland parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne, southern South Interior and the adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 July
Light showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay, contracting to
south coastal parts during the morning. Morning frost over northeastern parts
of the South West Land Division, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne, southern South
Interior and the adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 28 July
Showers developing over the Central West, Lower West, and Southwest districts
during the afternoon extending to southwest of a line from Shark Bay to
Kalgoorlie to Israelite Bay during the evening . Morning frost over the
southern South Interior and the adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 29 July
Showers southwest of a line from Exmouth to Forrest. Chance of thunderstorms
over the western parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
