Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will maintain dry, cooler east to southeasterly winds in the north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak high pressure ridge lies over southern and southeastern parts of the
State, slowly moving east. A trough and low pressure system moves across the
west coast of the South West Land Division later Sunday and into Monday, with a
new high pressure ridge developing south of the State by Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, far southern coastal Gascoyne,
southern Goldfields and southern Eucla district. Chance of morning fog over the
southern parts of the Great Southern, adjacent South Coastal and Southeast
Coastal district, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 18 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, far southern Gascoyne, Goldfields
and Eucla. Possible thunderstorms over the Lower West district, southern
Central West district, Southwest district, northern Great Southern, Central
Wheat Belt and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 July
Possible light showers southwest of Perth to Walpole and along the Eucla coast.
Morning fog over the inland South West Land Division and far southwest
Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 July
Showers about the Southwest Capes extending to southwest of a line Kalbarri to
Kalgoorlie to Esperance during the day.
