Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system south of the Bight will continue moving east. A cold
front moving over the south of the State today will be followed by another high
pressure system.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure over the State will weaken today, as a cold front
moves through the South West Land Division. A new high pressure system will
follow in the wake of the front on Wednesday and re-build the ridge over the
State.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 5 July
Showers over the Southwest Capes extending to southwest of a line from
Geraldton to Israelite Bay during the day. Morning frost over the Interior,
Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, and eastern Central West.
Forecast for Wednesday 6 July
Chance of light showers over the South West Land Division and western Eucla
district. Chance of morning frost over the Interior, Eucla, northern
Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, and southeast Pilbara. Chance of morning fog
across the southwest of the State.
Forecast for Thursday 7 July
Chance of light showers south of a line Lancelin to Norseman to Eucla. Chance
of morning frost over the Interior, northern Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne and
southeast Pilbara. Chance of morning fog across the southwest of the State.
Forecast for Friday 8 July
Chance of light showers southwest of a line Perth to Bremer Bay and over
eastern coastal parts of the Eucla district. Chance of morning frost over the
northeast Gascoyne, western Interior, and northern Goldfields. Chance of
morning fog over the southeast Goldfields, eastern parts of the South East
Coastal, and Eucla districts.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
