Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough over the western Pilbara will extend to the Gascoyne on Tuesday
before moving east on the weekend. Associated cloud band will extend from the
Pilbara to the southeast of the State during the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
An intense low pressure system is pulling further off the south coast today,
sweeping east from the centre of the Bight. A weak ridge is extending across
the South West Land Division. A series of cold fronts will move across the
south of the State from Wednesday until the end of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 14 June
Showers over the northern Gascoyne, western Pilbara, and western and southern
parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 15 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, western Pilbara, Goldfields, western parts of South
Interior, northern and west parts of Central West, northeastern Central Wheat
Belt, and southwest parts of the South West Land Division. Possible
thunderstorms over the far southwest and northwest of State.

Forecast for Thursday 16 June
Showers southwest of a line from Eucla to Warburton. Possible thunderstorms
over the far southwest and northwest of State.

Forecast for Friday 17 June
Showers southwest of a line from Mardie to Forrest, more frequent across the
western Gascoyne and South West Land Division. Possible thunderstorms over the
far southwest and northwest of State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
