Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will linger over the Kimberley through to early week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends over southern parts of the State, which will
drift more southwards into the early week, as a high pressure system moves
slowly east. A low pressure system and an associated cold front will approach
the west coast during Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 6 June
Possible showers and thunderstorms over the far northwestern Kimberley. Showers
over the southern Eucla and far southern South West Land Division, east of
Windy Harbour.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 June
Possible showers over the Gascoyne, far west Pilbara coasts and near the south
coast east of Walpole.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 June
Showers extending to west of a line from Onslow to Newman to Bremer Bay and
along the Eucla coast. Possible thunderstorms over the West Pilbara, western
Gascoyne, western Central West district and northwest Lower West district.

Forecast for Thursday 9 June
Showers west of a line from Port Hedland to Eyre and along the remaining Eucla
coast. Possible thunderstorms over the central and eastern Pilbara, northern
Gascoyne, Central West and Lower West districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
