Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough and associated cloud band will linger over the Kimberley for the
remainder of the week. A new cloud band is expected to develop over northwest
WA on the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front pass along the south coast today. Another weak front will brush
past the southwest coast on Friday before a firm ridge of high pressure arrives
on the weekend over the South West Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 2 June
Showers over the Kimberley, eastern Interior, South West Land Division (mainly
coastal), Eucla coast and southern Goldfields. Possible thunderstorms over the
Kimberley, far northeast Interior, south coast, and far southern Goldfields.
Possible heavy falls and damaging wind gusts with thunderstorms over parts of
the Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 3 June
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the northeastern Kimberley. Showers
over the southern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla coast.

Forecast for Saturday 4 June
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers over the
southern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 5 June
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers over the
Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne, Interior, southern parts of the South West Land
Division and Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
