Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will continue moving over eastern parts of the Pilbara and the
Interior during today, moving into the southwest Kimberley during the afternoon.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front continues to move east out of the state while a ridge of high
pressure develops over central parts in its wake. Another weak front will brush
the southwest coast during today. The ridge will drift over southern parts
during Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 14 May
Showers over the far southwest Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior and South
West Land Division. Thunderstorms possible over far southwest Kimberley,
northeast Pilbara and western Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 15 May
Showers near coastal parts of the South West Land Division. Possible showers
over the northeast Pilbara, North Interior and far northeast South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 16 May
Showers possible over the western and southern South West Land Division.
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields, Gascoyne,
Pilbara, Eucla and Interior. Possible thunderstorms over the eastern Pilbara
and far west Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
