Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A drier easterly flow is expected to persist until late in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A shallow trough lies over inland agricultural areas, while a ridge over the
southeast of the State weakens. On Wednesday and Thursday a cloud band and
associated cold front will sweep across southern and western parts of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 10 May
Areas of morning smoke haze over the Lower and Southwest districts. Chance of
morning fog over inland parts southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 11 May
Rain and showers developing over the South West Land Division and over far
southwest Gascoyne during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 12 May
Rain and showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, western Pilbara,
Goldfields and Eucla. Possible heavy falls over the Great Southern, South
Coastal and eastern Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Friday 13 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, Pilbara
and Interior, contracting south and east during the day. Windy over southern
parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
