Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extending near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara will weaken
by the weekend, as a drier easterly flow develops.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge extends over the southern half of the State from a strong high
pressure system in the Southern Ocean. The high will slowly move east over the
next couple of days, allowing the ridge to weaken. A weak front will approach
the southwest coast on Sunday, followed by a cloud band and a stronger cold
front middle of next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 6 May
Showers about the Eucla coast and far eastern parts of South East Coastal
District. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over southern and western
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 7 May
Possible shower near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 8 May
Showers and chance of a thunderstorm southwest of a line Eneabba and Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Monday 9 May
Chance of a shower about the southwest coast.
