Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara. It will push
offshore from the Pilbara and southwestern Kimberley coasts for a period during
the mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing to the south of the State with a slow moving high
pressure system to move east from Wednesday, reaching the Bight on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 4 May
Showers about the south and Eucla coasts and over adjacent inland parts.
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the North Interior, far northeast
Pilbara and far southern Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 5 May
Showers about the south and Eucla coasts. Chance of a shower and thunderstorm
over the North Interior and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 6 May
Showers near the Eucla coast. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the
far southern Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 7 May
Possible showers near the Eucla coast.
