Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A vigorous cold front will advance across the South West Land Division tonight
and will be followed by a weaker cold front early Thursday. A new ridge will
strengthen over the southern parts of the State from later Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 April
Showers southwest of a line Coral Bay to Leinster to Eyre. Chance of a shower
about the Pilbara. Chance of gusty thunderstorms over the Southwest Land
Division and southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Southwest Land Division, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Few showers about the Pilbara.
Heavy falls, damaging wind gusts and large hail possible with thunderstorms
about the southern Goldfields, eastern parts of the South East Coastal and
western parts of Eucla District.

Forecast for Thursday 28 April
Showers over the Southwest Land Division, Gascoyne coast, far southwest
Goldfields and Eucla coast. Chance of a thunderstorm near the coast between
Geraldton and Albany.

Forecast for Friday 29 April
Showers over the southern coastal districts, eastern parts of the South
Interior and eastern parts of the Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 30 April
Light showers about the south coast. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over
northern Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
