Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends near the coast from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A series of cold fronts will pass over the southern parts of the State during
the middle of the week, with a new ridge strengthening over the southern parts
of the State from later Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 April
Showers over the Southwest Land Division extending to southwest of a line Coral
Bay to Leinster to Eyre during the day. Chance of a shower about the Pilbara
this afternoon. Chance of gusty thunderstorms over the Southwest Land Division,
far southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and far west Eucla.
Forecast for Wednesday 27 April
Showers and the chance of gusty thunderstorms over the Southwest Land Division,
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Chance of a shower
about the Pilbara coast. Heavy falls possible about the southern Goldfields and
eastern parts of the South East Coastal.
Forecast for Thursday 28 April
Showers over the Southwest Land Division, Gascoyne coast, southwest Goldfields
and Eucla coast.
Forecast for Friday 29 April
Light showers over the southern coastal districts and southeastern parts of the
South Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
