Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front moves east along the southern coastal parts of the State
Saturday morning, with a trough extending into far eastern parts of the South
West Land Division and the Goldfields. The trough contracts into the Eucla and
South Interior as the front moves east. A new ridge of high pressure will
follow in the wake of the trough and front during Saturday. A new cold front
will move across southwest parts of the South West Land Division on Sunday and
into eastern parts on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 9 April
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the far northwest Kimberley, northern
and eastern Goldfields, southwest South Interior and Eucla. Showers about
southern and western districts of the South West Land Division, clearing during
the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 10 April
Showers over the South West Land Division, apart from northeast parts. Showers
and the chance of thunderstorms over the Goldfields, Eucla and far south of the
Southern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 11 April
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and far southern South Interior. Chance of
thunderstorms over the Eucla and Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Tuesday 12 April
Showers over eastern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields
and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
