Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends into the Bight as a trough of low pressure
develops down the west coast. The trough will move inland on Friday ahead of a
cold front advancing across the southwest of the state. A new ridge of high
pressure will follow in the wake of the trough on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 7 April
Chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm over the far northern
Kimberley, central inland Pilbara and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 8 April
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the far northern Kimberley. Showers and
thunderstorms over most parts of the South West Land Division, light falls
inland. Possible shower about the southern Gascoyne coast later in the day.

Forecast for Saturday 9 April
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the far northern Kimberley. Showers
about southern districts of the South West Land Division and along the west
coast south of Shark Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 10 April
Showers near the south coast of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and
Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
