Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through inland parts of the Pilbara and the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies through the central west coast and extends into the Gascoyne. A
low pressure system moves southwards close to the far west Pilbara coast later
Thursday and then the Gascoyne coast on Friday. A ridge lies along the southern
coastline as a strong high pressure system builds in the Great Australian Bight.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 March
Mostly sunny over the eastern Kimberley and northeastern parts of the Interior.
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over remaining parts of the state, more
frequent and possibly severe over southern parts of the Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Central West, and Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, western Pilbara,
Gascoyne, western Goldfields and northern and central parts of the South West
Land Division, more frequent and possibly severe over southern parts of the
Pilbara and Gascoyne. Showers about the south coast and southern parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 1 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division, more
frequent and possibly severe over southwest parts of the Pilbara and northwest
Gascoyne. Showers about the south coast and southern and central parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 2 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers over the southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
