Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies though inland parts of the Pilbara and the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system (remnants of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Charlotte) lies offshore
from the Gascoyne coast extending a trough to the central west coast. The low
will slowly move south then southwest further offshore during the week. A ridge
of high pressure will build along the southern coastline with a strong high
pressure system moving into Bight waters Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over most of the state, more frequent and possibly
severe over northern parts of the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, and
inland Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 March
Mostly sunny over the eastern Kimberley and eastern parts of the North
Interior. Showers and gusty thunderstorms over remaining parts of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 31 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, western Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 1 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, western Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
