Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain slow moving across the Pilbara and North Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending along the west coast is deepening, while a ridge over the
southeast of the State is weakening. A low pressure system (remnants of
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Charlotte) is moving southwards closer to the west coast
and will remain in vicinity of the west coast over open waters well into next
week.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 26 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms southwest of Port Hedland to Israelite Bay with
possible heavy falls in the South West Land Division, western parts of the
Gascoyne and southwest Pilbara. Rain areas in the far southwest. Showers and
gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and eastern parts of the Northern
Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 27 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most places, more frequent across the
South West Land Division, Gascoyne and western parts of the Goldfields with
possible heavy falls. Rain areas in the far southwest.
Forecast for Monday 28 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms to the north and west of Eucla District, more
frequent across the South West Land Division, Gascoyne and the far western
parts of the Goldfields with possible heavy falls. Rain areas in the far south.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most places, more frequent across the
South West Land Division, Gascoyne and the western parts of the Goldfields with
possible heavy falls. Rain areas in the far south.
