Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain slow moving across the Pilbara and North Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system to the south of the State will move into the Bight
tonight. A trough is extending along the west coast and deepening. The remnants
of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Charlotte will move southwards closer to the west coast
during Friday and into the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeastern parts of the
North Interior, western Pilbara, western Gascoyne, Central West. Chance of a
shower over northern parts of Lower West.
Forecast for Saturday 26 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms southwest of Karratha to Israelite Bay with
possible heavy falls in the South West Land Division. Rain areas in the far
southwest. Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Northern
Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 27 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms throughout, more frequent across the South West
Land Division, Gascoyne and the Goldfields with possible heavy falls. Rain
areas in the far southwest.
Forecast for Monday 28 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms throughout, more frequent across the South West
Land Division, Gascoyne and the Goldfields with possible heavy falls. Rain
areas in the far south.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
