Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Pilbara and into the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the Gascoyne to inland parts of the South West Land
Division as a cold front brushes past the south coast. A ridge is rapidly
developing south of the State in the wake of the front. A second weak cold
front is expected to brush the south coast overnight tonight and on Monday. A
cloud band associated with these frontal systems extends across the far
southwest of the State and will contract east on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 20 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior,
eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields. Showers and possible thunderstorms over
the South West Land Division and eastern parts of Southeast Coastal.

Forecast for Monday 21 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, north and east
Gascoyne, western Interior, Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over southern parts
of the South West Land Division with possible thunderstorms in the southeast.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over south parts of the South
West Land Division and eastern parts of Southeast Coastal.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern
Gascoyne. Showers about the south coast and adjacent inland.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
