Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Pilbara and into the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the Gascoyne into the South West Land Division down the
west coast. The trough will continue to move east as weak cold front approaches
from the southwest and is expected to move along the south coast today. A ridge
rapidly develops south of the State in the wake of the front, with a second
weak cold front expected to brush the south coast overnight Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 19 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and the North
Interior. Showers over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 20 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior,
eastern Gascoyne, north and west Goldfields. Showers and possible thunderstorms
over most parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 21 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, north and east
Gascoyne, western Interior, south and east Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over
south parts of the South West Land Division with possible thunderstorms in the
southeast.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, Interior, east Goldfields and northern Eucla. Showers over south
parts of the South West Land Division, far southern Goldfields and remaining
Eucla. .

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
