Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley and into the Interior. Another trough lies
near the Pilbara coast which will move offshore for a period during the
mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State while a trough develops near
the Gascoyne coast and extends south along the west coast which remains there
throughout the week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 7 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior and central
Pilbara. Few light showers over the far south of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley, Pilbara,
adjacent North Interior and northwest parts of the Gascoyne. Few light showers
near the south and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Wednesday 9 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, adjacent North
Interior and northern parts of the Gascoyne. Possible light morning showers
about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Thursday 10 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
