Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends across the Kimberley towards the Pilbara coast.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over inland parts of the South West Land Division is moving closer to
the west coast but will move inland again on Tuesday as a front brushes past
the southwest coast. A series of high-pressure systems will maintain a firm
ridge along the south coast this week.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 21 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Light
showers over eastern Eucla and far south Goldfields. Chance of a light coastal
shower east of Albany.
Forecast for Tuesday 22 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley.
Forecast for Wednesday 23 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers about eastern parts
of South West, South Coastal and western parts of Southeast Coastal Districts.
Forecast for Thursday 24 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Showers about eastern parts
of South West, South Coastal, far southern parts of the Great Southern and
Southeast Coastal.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
