Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from a low pressure system centred over the inland Kimberley
and towards the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends along the west coast, from the Gascoyne to the south-west of
the state. A ridge of high pressure lies over waters to the south. Both of
these features will remain fairly stationary in coming days.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 14 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, southwest
Interior, Goldfields, and South West Land Division. Isolated heavy falls
possible over the Gascoyne, inland Central West, Central Wheat Belt and
northeastern parts of the Lower West. Gusty winds possible with thunderstorms
in the Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara,
Gascoyne, and Central West district.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, north Gascoyne
and far north Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 17 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara, north
and west Gascoyne and northern parts of the Central West district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
