Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A tropical low located over the border of the Kimberley and the Northern
Interior is slowly moving west. This low is expected to move offshore from the
west Kimberley coast on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is slowly moving south of the State. A low pressure
trough is developing down the west coast during the remainder of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North Interior
and northeast parts of South Interior. Heavy falls possible over the southern
Kimberley, North Interior and eastern Pilbara. Possible morning light showers
along the south coast east of Albany.

Forecast for Thursday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and North
Interior. Isolated heavy falls possible over the southwest Kimberley, North
Interior and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 4 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, and North Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 5 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, and North Interior.
