Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A tropical low located over the southern Kimberley/Northern Interior is slowly
moving west. This low is expected to move offshore from the west Kimberley
coast later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is pushing south of the State. A low pressure trough is
expected to develop down the west coast during the week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 1 February
Monsoonal rain, squally showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern
Pilbara, North Interior and eastern parts of South Interior. Heavy falls
possible over the western and southern Kimberley, northern parts of North
Interior and far northeast Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North Interior
and northeast parts of South Interior. Heavy falls possible over the southern
Kimberley, North Interior and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 3 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and North
Interior. Isolated heavy falls possible over the southwest Kimberley, North
Interior and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 4 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, and North Interior.
