Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley and Pilbara and extends south through
the east Gascoyne.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure lies south of the State with a broad trough over
inland parts of the South West Land Division. The ridge will strengthen south
of the State over the next few days as the trough moves offshore from the west
coast. Rising temperatures over most parts away from the south coast.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 23 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara, Interior and
northeast Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 24 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara and Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 25 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and north Interior. Very
hot over southern parts away from the south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 26 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and north Interior.
Potential for strong winds and heavy falls over the north Kimberley. Very hot
over southern parts away from the south coast.
