Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the inland east Pilbara to the Kimberley and will remain
near stationary for the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure will develop near the south coast today with a
trough developing inland from the west coast Monday and Tuesday. The trough
will continue to deepen and move towards the west coast on Wednesday before
moving inland Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 19 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and adjacent northeastern North
Interior.
Forecast for Monday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and adjacent northeastern North
Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara and adjacent
northeastern North Interior. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the
southeast Gascoyne, western Goldfields and inland South West Land Division.
Forecast for Wednesday 22 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara, Interior, eastern
Gascoyne, Goldfields and northeast South West Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
