Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains near stationary
over the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough located inland from the west coast will move eastwards across the
Goldfields on Friday then the Eucla and South Interior on Saturday. A new ridge
develops over western parts of the State on Saturday before establishing itself
near the south coast on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 10 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
western parts of the North and South Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
and Southeast Coastal. Morning showers and possible thunderstorms over the
Lower West, Southwest, and South Coastal districts.
Forecast for Saturday 11 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and Interior.
Possible light showers near mainly coastal parts between Mandurah and Albany.
Forecast for Sunday 12 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara and
Interior. Light showers possible along the south coast.
Forecast for Monday 13 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
