Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A heat trough over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara remains near stationary
over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies south of the State with a trough deepening near the
west coast. The trough will continue to deepen during Wednesday. then move
inland during Thursday and further eastwards on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, North Interior, eastern Gascoyne and northern and western parts of the
Goldfields and South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 9 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, North Interior and adjacent parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Friday 10 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, North and South Interior, north and east Goldfields and northeast
Gascoyne. Possible light showers near coastal parts of the South West district.

Forecast for Saturday 11 December
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and Interior. Possible light showers southwest of
Mandurah to Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
