Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain inland near the Kimberley coast and Pilbara coast before
moving further inland early this week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies just inland from the west coast and is moving east, reaching the
Goldfields and Eucla on Monday and the Southern Interior on Tuesday. A weak
cold front will brush the SW Capes on Monday with a high pressure ridge
developing along the south coast Tuesday. Another weak front may brush the
southwest coast during Wednesday with the ridge becoming established south of
the State on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 29 November
Showers developing southwest of a line Busselton to Hopetoun. Mainly light
falls anticipated. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 30 November
Isolated light showers in the far south. Showers and thunderstorms possible
over the far northwestern Kimberley.
Forecast for Wednesday 1 December
Light showers southwest of a line Busselton to Albany. Showers and
thunderstorms possible over the far northwestern Kimberley.
Forecast for Thursday 2 December
Possible light showers along the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms
possible over the north and northwestern Kimberley.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
