Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends through the Pilbara into inland parts of the Kimberley. A low
will deepen within the trough over the Pilbara and contract towards the
southeast on Monday, with the trough in the Kimberley expected to sag southward
into the Interior on Monday and Tuesday. A weak ridge will extend through the
west Pilbara coast from Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge extends through southern and western parts of the State and will remain
in place over southern WA through to the middle of next week. A trough will
deepen southward through the inland Gascoyne during the day today. The trough
and an embedded low will sag southward through central parts of the State on
Monday and Tuesday, then will contract away to the east on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 7 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, and southeast Pilbara,
possibly extending into the Goldfields and far eastern parts of the Gascoyne.
Storms may become severe through the Interior. Chance of a light shower near
the south coast around Albany.

Forecast for Monday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, mainly across
eastern and central parts. Showers and storms extending back into the
Goldfields, Eucla, South East Coastal District, Central Wheat Belt, and Central
West, possibly into the Perth hills late in the day or at night. Chance of
showers over the south coast, mainly to the west of Esperance.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the east-central Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
Interior and northern Eucla. Rain and possible embedded thunderstorms over the
far southern Gascoyne, Wheat Belt, southern Central West, and Goldfields, with
a chance of showers through the Lower West, Great Southern, South East Coastal
District and South Coastal District. Moderate to heavy falls from the southern
Central West through the Wheat Belt and southern Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 November
Rain and possible thunderstorms contracting east through the Goldfields, Eucla
and South Interior, and clearing from the Central Wheat Belt and southern and
eastern Gascoyne. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the eastern and
northern Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
