Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Pilbara through the Interior while a weak
trough is also evident over the inland Kimberley. The trough over the inland
Pilbara will contract towards the southeast later Thursday into Friday as a
ridge strengthens into western parts of the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high is moving across southern WA and will cross into the Bight during during
the evening. A trough will form through the inland South West Land Division
early Thursday and move towards the southeast during the day. By Friday
afternoon the southern part of the trough will move rapidly into South
Australia as a new ridge strengthens over the south and west coasts in its
wake. The northern part of the trough will linger back into the Interior on
Friday and then contract slowly northwards on Saturday as the ridge becomes
further established over southern WA.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 3 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, North Interior, and
northeast part of the South Interior. Areas of early fog over inland parts
south and west of a line from Jurien Bay to Norseman to Eucla. Possible light
showers, mainly early in the day, over the South West and Lower West. Tending
warmer through much of the Gascoyne, Goldfields, and northern South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Thursday 4 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior, extending to the
Goldfields, Eucla and eastern South West Land Division. Thunderstorms may be
severe in the Interior, Goldfields, and South East Coastal District. Very warm
temperatures through the inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and eastern South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 5 November
Tending cooler through eastern and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, Interior and
southeast Pilbara. Chance of showers over the south coastal districts.

Forecast for Saturday 6 November
Possible showers and storms in the Kimberley, Interior, and inland Pilbara. A
light shower possible, mainly early, over the south coastal districts. Cool
weather persisting over the southern half of the South West Land Division.
