Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will lie near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts for the next few
days before extending southwards through central WA on Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across central WA while a weak cold front moves
across the South West Land Division on Monday. On Tuesday a broad trough will
develop over central WA, deepening during Wednesday as it moves towards the
Eucla while a large cold front approaches the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 30 August
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Hyden to Bremer Bay and along the remaining
south coast with mainly light falls over northern and eastern parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 August
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay and along the remaining south
coast with mainly light falls over northern and eastern parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 September
Showers southwest of Denham to Israelite Bay. The chance of a late thunderstorm
and small hail southwest of Lancelin to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Thursday 2 September
Showers southwest of Denham to Eucla. The chance of a thunderstorm and small
hail southwest of Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.
