Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the northern Interior and Kimberley will continue to move east
during today. A new ridge will develop over central parts of the State during
today and Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will develop over central parts of the State during
today. A cold front will move across southern parts on Friday. The ridge will
continue to develop through central parts of the State over the weekend with a
westerly flow along the south coast.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 22 July
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division, far
southern Goldfields, southern Gascoyne, Eucla and the far southern Interior.
Light falls inland.

Forecast for Friday 23 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and the southwest Goldfields,
extending along the Eucla coast in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 24 July
Showers about coastal parts between Geraldton and Eucla, extending into the
adjacent areas of the South West district and the far south of the Great
Southern for a period from late morning to late afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 25 July
Showers about coastal and adjacent parts between Geraldton and Bremer Bay,
extending to the southern Central Wheat Belt and western Great Southern for a
period during the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
