Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the western Pilbara will move east today and on Thursday. A new
ridge will develop over central parts of the State on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A rain band and an associate low pressure system is expected to move over the
southwest of the State today, with a high pressure ridge developing over
central parts of the State on Thursday. A cold front will move across southern
parts on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 21 July
Rain areas over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, the
Goldfields, and Eucla. Showers over remaining parts of the South West Land
Division, the western and southern Gascoyne, and the far southern Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 22 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, southern
Gascoyne and Eucla, contracting to the coastal parts between Perth and Eucla by
the evening. Light falls inland.

Forecast for Friday 23 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, Goldfields, Gascoyne, and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 24 July
Showers about coastal parts between Perth and Eyre, and into the adjacent
inland areas of the South West district and the far south of the Great Southern.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
