Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through the Interior as a trough moves over the
western Pilbara on Monday. A new ridge will develop through central parts of
the State on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front will move over southern parts of the State during Monday,
with a deep low pressure system moving south of the SW Capes in the evening.
The deep low pressure system will move south of the State on Tuesday and
Wednesday maintaining a generally westerly flow over southern parts. A new
ridge builds over central parts later Wednesday and during Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 12 July
Showers extending to areas southwest of a line Onslow to Eucla during the day.
Squally showers and thunderstorms possible southwest of a line from Eneabba to
Hopetoun. Moderate to heavy falls possible in the South West and Lower West
districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, South
Interior and western and southern Pilbara. Squally showers and thunderstorms
possible southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Esperance.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, southwest
Goldfields and central Interior. A chance of afternoon and evening
thunderstorms about coastal and adjacent parts between Jurien Bay and Walpole.

Forecast for Thursday 15 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, southwest
Goldfields and the Eucla. A chance of morning coastal thunderstorms over the
Lower West and South West districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
