Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies through the Interior and into the Pilbara with
little change over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move over the southeast parts of the State today. A ridge of
high pressure will lie through central parts of the State on Thursday before a
another cold front moves across the southwest on Friday. A new ridge will begin
to develop over the south of the State on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 7 July
Showers with possible thunderstorms over the west and southern parts of the
South West Land Division, northeast Gascoyne, eastern Goldfields, South
Interior and the Eucla. Showers elsewhere over the Gascoyne and Goldfields.
Squally showers southwest of Yanchep to Bremer Bay easing during the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 8 July
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southeast Interior and the eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 9 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and adjacent areas. Thunderstorms
possible southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay, most likely in the morning and
afternoon.

Forecast for Saturday 10 July
Showers over the South West Land Division and adjacent areas, contracting to
the south coast in the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
