Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the western Pilbara will weaken during the day. A weak ridge of
high pressure will develop over the south of the State over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the north and east of the South West Land Division will move into
the Goldfields and Eucla during today and Saturday, with a weak high pressure
ridge developing in its wake. A cold front will approach the southwest corner
of the State late Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 11 June
Areas of morning fog over southwestern parts. Showers over the South West Land
Division, Goldfields, Gascoyne, western and central Pilbara, South Interior and
Eucla. Thunderstorms possible in the north and east South West Land Division,
southern Gascoyne, southern Goldfields and western Eucla, with possible
thunderstorms near the west coast south of Geraldton in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 12 June
Early morning thunderstorms possible about the west coast south of Geraldton.
Showers over the South West Land Division, Goldfields, Gascoyne, central
Pilbara, South Interior and Eucla. Thunderstorms possible in the southeast of
the State.

Forecast for Sunday 13 June
Widespread areas of fog through the South West Land Division and adjacent
Goldfields in the morning. Showers along the south coast, the Eucla and
adjacent Interior. Light showers possible over the remainder of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 14 June
Widespread showers over the South West Land Division, extending into the
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla during the afternoon and evening.
Possible thunderstorms about the south coastal districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
