Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak surface trough lies near the west Kimberley coast and will remain there
for the next few days. A ridge will begin to develop over the south of the
State on Friday and strengthen further over the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough and associated cloud band lies over the South Interior and will
contract slowly northeast during today before weakening on Saturday. A ridge
will develop over the south of the State during today and will strengthen
further over the weekend with a high moving into the Bight on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 7 May
Showers across most of the Southwest Land Division and Gascoyne, easing from
the west during the day. Morning thunderstorms possible over far eastern parts
of the South West Land Division. Showers and thunderstorms over the Goldfields,
Eucla and South Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 8 May
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts and central and southern parts of
the Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 9 May
Showers near the south coast and adjacent parts.
Forecast for Monday 10 May
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts and adjacent parts
