Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far western Pilbara. A ridge of high pressure over the
south of the State will lead to morning periods of fresh and gusty easterly
winds in the north.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern parts of the State. A trough will linger near the
west coast on Monday then move east. A weak cold front will brush the western
south coast during Tuesday. A broad surface trough will lie over inland parts
of the South West Land Division on Wednesday. A stronger cold front will
approach the southwest of the State during Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 April
Areas of morning fog southwest of a line from Bunbury to Esperance. Otherwise
mostly sunny across the State.
Forecast for Tuesday 27 April
Chance of a thunderstorm over the far north Kimberley. Showers and possible
thunderstorms southwest of a line Busselton to Bremer Bay.
Forecast for Wednesday 28 April
Chance of a thunderstorm over the far north Kimberley. Showers southwest of a
line Margaret River to Albany, with the slight risk of thunderstorms.
Forecast for Thursday 29 April
Showers and possible thunderstorms southwest of a line from Bunbury to Albany,
increasing during the day. Showers extending to southwest of a line from Perth
to Bremer Bay during the afternoon and evening.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
