Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the far western Pilbara. During Thursday and Friday a fresh
and gusty easterly flow will result with a ridge of high pressure over the
south of the State.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will develop south of the State during Tuesday. A weak cold front will
brush the south coast during Wednesday morning. Another ridge will develop
south of the State and a broad trough will form off the west coast during
Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 20 April
A chance of showers or thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne, and central
Pilbara. A chance of showers along the south coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 21 April
A chance of showers along the south coast.
Forecast for Thursday 22 April
Chance of morning showers near the south coast.
Forecast for Friday 23 April
Chance of showers near the Eucla coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
