Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the inland Pilbara and Gascoyne and will persist for
the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies near the south coast with a high pressure system moving into
the Bight. A broad surface trough will form over the South West Land Division
during the weekend and drift into the Goldfields during Monday and Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and east Pilbara,
Interior, northern Goldfields, and southeast Gascoyne.
Forecast for Sunday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, far
north Goldfields and the inland Gascoyne.
Forecast for Monday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far west Interior, Pilbara,
western Goldfields, inland Gascoyne, eastern Central West, eastern Central
Wheat Belt and eastern Great Southern.
Forecast for Tuesday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley, west Pilbara, and
Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
