Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley to waters north of WA then over the western
Pilbara and will remain near stationary over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough extends from the eastern Gascoyne to the eastern Eucla and
continues to move east. A new ridge of high pressure is strengthening near the
south coast. By Wednesday the trough will extend through the Gascoyne to the
Interior. Later Thursday another weak front will brush the southwest of the
State.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 23 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Interior, Goldfields,
Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of showers near
the remaining south coast and the eastern Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, South Interior, Goldfields, and
the Eucla. Chance of showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Thursday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Goldfields and
the Eucla. Showers developing about the western south coast during the
afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 26 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and the northeast
Goldfields. Showers about the eastern Eucla and the south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
