Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over north of the State and will remain near stationary
over the next few days. A tropical low may move through the northern Kimberley
during Monday and Tuesday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough will deepen down the west coast during today, as a high pressure
system moves slowly south of the State. The trough will move inland from the
west coast on Tuesday and remain through central parts of the South West Land
Division on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and
northern Interior. Showers over the south coast and adjacent parts west of
Bremer Bay, most likely during the morning.
Forecast for Monday 22 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and western Pilbara and
the northwest Gascoyne.
Forecast for Tuesday 23 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and the North
Interior.
Forecast for Wednesday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and the North
Interior. A chance of a shower or thunderstorm over eastern parts of the South
East Coastal district and the western Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
