Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over north of the State and will remain near stationary
over the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will develop near the south coast and a broad surface
trough will form just inland from the west coast during Friday and Saturday.
The trough will deepen down the west coast from Sunday, as a high pressure
system moves slowly south of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 19 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne,
Interior and the eastern Eucla. Chance of a light shower near the south coast
in the early morning.

Forecast for Saturday 20 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 21 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 22 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, and
North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
