Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the Pilbara coast to a broad area of low pressure
over the Kimberley.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is building to the south of the State. A surface trough
will deepen near the west coast during today and Tuesday, before northern parts
of the trough moves inland from the west coast on Wednesday and Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, Pilbara and
northern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, and western parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Wednesday 30 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, the
South West Land Division and the western Goldfields.
Forecast for Thursday 31 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, inland
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, southern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, Goldfields and the western Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
