Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies from the inland Pilbara to the North Interior. A tropical low is
expected to move over the northeast Kimberley during the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
For the next few days a ridge will lie near the south coast and a trough will
remain near the west coast. The trough will drift inland during Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara, Interior,
eastern Gascoyne, Eucla, Goldfields and far northeast Central Wheat belt.
Possible morning showers near the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 18 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 19 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Heavy falls possible over the north
and northeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Heavy falls possible over the north
and northeast Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
