Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the inland Kimberley extends through the North Interior and to
the Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies to the south of the State with a deepening trough extending
from the inland Gascoyne, through the Goldfields and into the Eucla. The trough
will move east during the day. A weakening cold front will brush the western
south coast this morning and a ridge will rapidly develop in its wake near the
south coast. A trough develops down the west coast on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South East Coastal
district. Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay, mostly during
the morning and early afternoon.
Forecast for Saturday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, and
the northern and eastern Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and the North Interior.
Chance of a shower along the south coast.
Forecast for Monday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and far
northern Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
